How to Understand Books

  1. Preview the chapter (titles, headings, intro).
  2. Ask a question before reading : "What is this about?"
  3. Read actively: highlight key points, note confusing parts
  4. Summarize each section in your own words.
  5. Review the chapter in 1 to 2 sentences after finishing.

Understanding grows with patience: revisit tricky parts, stay curious, and connect what you read to what you already know.

Book Review List

Welcome to my book review list. Below, you will find each review organized clearly starting with the first book, then the second, and so on so you can quickly see what each book offers and how they compare.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series follows Greg Heffley as he deals with the everyday chaos of middle school, friendship, and family. Each book combines simple drawings with short diary entries that make the stories fast, funny, and super easy to read.

Greg's bad luck, selfish choices, and awkward moments create a lot of humor, while his friendship with Rowley and his bizarre family keep every book entertaining. Even though each story focuses on a different event like school troubles, vacations, or big plans gone wrong, the series stays consistent, light-hearted, and fun.

It is a great pick for anyone who wants a quick, relatable, and laugh-filled read.
